Final assignment tutorial 1

For the final assignment we have to produce setting out plan drawing with proposal work (red), demolition work (blue) and the existing drawing work.

Project two measured drawing submission

Throughout  this group assignment i learn that teamwork is important.At first we divide our group to two parts. The first part in charge of finding infos about the site and the other is incharge of drawing the site. Measuring and taking down measurement on the site have to be one person cause we tried one person measuring and the other noting down the measurement was not accurate so we went there again and measure ourselves. We also learn that time management is important so that we can manage our project and handle it on time.

Resubmission for detail furniture

Detailing drawing (task 2)

For this second task, Miss Norji wanted us to go outside of our comfort zone to explore the details of loose furniture.She recommended us to go to IKEA or Midvalley to find the loose furniture to do some detail sketches.I went to Seputeh where a designer is having a project on site.I ask him that I was doing some research on loose furniture detailing.

Task one

Miss Norji and Miss Tan lecture us on how to do specification. She even given us a example sheet on how to write the detail of an object. There are some measurements that we need to use in this module such as length,height,width,thickness and diameter. There are shorcut words such as c/w which stands for combine with, and f/w which stands for finish with. We start by using the object measurement and then the type of materials and ending it with the finishes used.
